Hi.

My name is Blanca and i make money online. I live in London and I'm the webmaster of this website. I have always been interested in beauty, even when I was a teenager. I remember that I will spend all my money on beauty products, rather than clothes and I will buy all the women magazines I could find and afford, of course.

I was always looking for the latest beauty products to try and the latest treatments. I was in love with beauty, so I decided to study beauty therapist.

I worked in a beauty salon for two years until I had my son. Then I decided that I wanted to be there for my son, and I became a full time mum.

As my son was getting older, and with more time on my hands, I decided that i wanted to do something productive with my time. Returning to work was not an option, as my son was still small.

One day my husband bought a computer, I have always been curious about them, and i started to experiment. Then it occurred to me that if I could do something from home and some how make money online I could be my own boss and be slave to no one.

I started looking and I found many adverts that promised to make me rich in few days, others wanted to reveal the "secret" that will change my life for ever, but only if i give them my money. Beware! There is a lot of rip offs on internet.

I must confess i bought few e-books and cd's, curiosity got the better of me, but I didn't have any success. I also did surveys, mystery shopper (not as glamorous as people might think) and I even had my own eBay store, which I had to close down.

I was disappointed that I had waste time and money for nothing.

But I kept looking until I found Site Build It! . I remember thinking at first, build a website? Me? I hardly know how to use a computer, let alone build a website. And as you can see, I was wrong.

Not only did I built this website about something I love, but I'm starting to make money online, which is a wonderful feeling. I didn't just happen overnight, building a website takes time, this is not a "get rich quick scheme".

I have built this website slowly, because I wanted to provide accurate and useful information to my visitors, and also because English is not my first language. My motto is "slowly, but sure".
