Skin Pigmentation
"Best Skin Lightening"
Skin pigmentation disorders cause abnormal skin coloring.
Melanin
is what is responsible for giving your skin its color, and if these cells are not healthy, or become damaged in some way, then the production of melanin is affected.
There are some pigmentation disorders that are present all over the body, and some that only appear on certain areas of the skin.
Your skin is darker when your body begins to produce excessive levels of melanin. The skin can be made darker through Addison's disease, by being pregnant, and as a result of being exposed to the sun, see

.
Vitiligo is a type of skin pigmentation disorder that results in patches of skin that are lighter in color. This means that instead of your body making too much melanin, it is producing too little.
To lower the chances of exacerbating a pigmentation problem, staying out of the sun as much as possible is important. You should also get in touch with a good dermatologist, and ask them about different options for treatment that exist.
The most common types of skin pigmentation disorders are melasma, solar lentigo, and vitiligo.
Melasma presents as dark blotches or spots of the forehead, neck, and face. American women are the most likely to suffer from this problem, and it is also seen in about 50 to 70% of women who are pregnant.
It usually results from exposure to the sun and changes in hormones during pregnancy.
Lots of times, this skin problem goes away over time, but if not, there are some topical creams that can be used to fade the spots.
Solar Lentigines, which is also known as liver spots, or age and sun spots, see
get rid of age spots
, is a skin pigmentation problem that makes brown spots that are flat, or freckles that are big and brown.
They are usually found on skin that has been in the sun, like on the face and the back of the hands. People that suffer from this are usually light-skinned people that are 60 or older. For the most part, people that do not tan, or sunburn, see

, rather easily are at greatest risk to have this disorder.
Vitiligo comes to be when the body cells do not make enough melanin, creating white spots on the skin that are smooth. Around 2% of the population gets this skin disorder, and it is thought to be a result of immunologic, genetic, and neurogenic reasons. There isn't a cure for this problem, but there have been treatments that have helped over the years.
The greatest way to lower your chances of developing these skin disorders is to be careful when in the sun, and remember to wear a good ,
sunscreen
, light clothing, and stay out of the sun when the rays are the most intense.
